Use an opener such as Hi! I’m (your name), and we met at/were introduced by (the place where you met or the person who introduced you to each other, e.g., Christina’s party or the name of the person who introduced you).

My advice to you is not to be too eager but not too slow in sending her that text message.
So, give it at least 1 hour but not more than 24 hours before you send her that first text message!

Please don’t give her a pet name too soon! Please wait for a while before you call her that.
A rule of thumb is to wait at least after being on a date or having text conversations for two days in a row before you ask her out on a date.
You can be creative and give her a pet name like apple pie or use a more common one like sweetheart or a simple generic one like “honey.” Please keep it simple and not awkward in the beginning.
A thing that is always recommended is to use proper English grammar.
Otherwise, she does not think you are investing enough time and care to write messages.
Be entertaining.

The HIT method that I introduced in my article How to Text to a Girl and to make a girl smile, either by mentioning something that occurred and was funny when you were introduced to each other or by someone or by texting her something innocent and fun like:
- What do you get when you cross a bear with a deer? (let her guess before you tell her the answer: Beer).
- Why did the cat go to the hospital? (Answer: To have a CAT scan done.)
Just keep the conversation going, and don’t overuse humor.
Mix it with serious discussions and make yourself a fun guy who makes her laugh.
It will make her lose her defenses and relax when you hang out together.

Show her you are a decent guy, not just a funny guy. Make sure to compliment her, and don’t be afraid to ask her about her interests and connect with her when you find a common interest.

Ask her if it would be okay to call her if you plan to give her a call.
Then ask her out on a date.
3 General Rules of Texting
Whenever you text her, three rules always apply:
- Show her that you are genuine, trustworthy, and serious but also can be a bit fun.
- Be yourself and make sure that you always show her the best sides of you.
- Use proper English and show a genuine interest in her life.
Don’t be afraid to show her that you care for or are interested in her.
Women love this. Send her spontaneous messages to create a “connection” between you now and then, like, How are you? What are you up to?

Texting should be used to get to know her a bit better before the first date. For this reason, I recommend you keep doing it for a couple of days before the date and then ask her to see how she is in real life.
